Bangalore to Bali Flight Route – Your Comprehensive Guide to This New Connection

Indigo’s direct flight from Bengaluru to Bali, launching on March 29, aims to connect travelers to the rich heritage of Denpasar.

India’s largest airline IndiGo has announced flights to another popular international tourist destination – Bali in Indonesia. The airline is quick to add routes where there is demand, and its latest Bengaluru-Denpasar service is another example of this.

The daily non-stop flights departing from Bengaluru aim to meet the growing demand among Indian travelers heading to the enchanting island of Bali.

Departing as Flight 6E 1605 at 12.05 a.m., it will arrive in Denpasar at 10.20 a.m. The return flight, 6E 1606, will leave Denpasar at 11.20 a.m. and touch down in Bengaluru at 3.15 p.m.

Reservations for the flight have commenced from February 20.

This development follows the airline’s start of flights to the Indonesian capital, Jakarta, in 2023.

Denpasar is Indigo’s 33rd international destination and second in Indonesia. According to a report in The Hindu, Vinay Malhotra, Global Sales Director, IndiGo, said: “We are very excited to announce Bangalore to Bali Flight, Denpasar (the main hub of the Indonesian province of Bali) as the newest international destination to join the 6E network. .”

This will be IndiGo’s second destination in Indonesia after Jakarta.

SUMMARY

  • IndiGo adds Denpasar in Bali as its 33rd international destination, announcing flights from Bengaluru.
  • The airline also started a Mumbai-Jakarta service in August last year.
  • IndiGo’s profitable growth, with a fifth consecutive quarterly profit, highlights a strong recovery from the pandemic.

Bangalore to Bali Flight: Means More Love to Indonesia

Indonesia has been a favored tourist spot for many Indians, despite the absence of direct services not too long ago. Until recently, Indian travelers had to opt for extended connections through Southeast Asian hubs like Hong Kong or Singapore.

However, there’s a shift underway, and IndiGo is actively contributing to this change. In the past year, the airline initiated flights between Mumbai and Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, marking an expansion in its international operations. The route’s objective was not only to enhance bilateral relations but also to establish direct connectivity, fostering trade and tourism between Indonesia and India.

In December, the full-service carrier Vistara launched daily flights between the Indian capital, New Delhi, and Bali. This strategic move was driven by the understanding that Indian travelers often prefer beach destinations during the colder winter months, with Bali consistently ranking high on their list of choices.
